Greetings from Planet Swift!

After a short recording break in July, the supersonic funk caravan known as Swift Technique will be blazing into their fifth year at full steam. Major highlights from July included tracking for an upcoming EP and a live video/audio recording at Philadelphia's The Blockley. Look for all this funktastic footage in the coming weeks and months.

On Sunday, August 5th, Swiftocious will be reconnecting with one of New Orlean's finest funk outfits, Big Sam's Funky Nation. This will be the second live collaboration between Swift and Big Sam, following a Summer 2011 performance in Providence, RI. Check out The 8x10 site for full details and tickets. Interview with Miss j NYce in Baltimore

For the first time ever, Rich and Jake will be performing with BOTH Swift Technique AND Brother Joscephus under ONE roof. On Thursday, August 9th, BroJo and Swift will collaborate in Philadelphia at The World Cafe Live. The night will be capped off with a third set, featuring a super jam with both bands. Philly will surely be experiencing funk related earthquake symptoms on this special evening of amazing music. Check out the World Cafe site for more details and tix.

Nation - prepare yourselves for what may be the most happenin DC monthly residency in history. Beginning in August, the international funk stampede will storm into The Wonderland Ballroom in Columbia Heights once a month to host an all out Swift Tech party. Special guests for each event will be announced one week prior to the party. So, stay tuned and get connected through Le Book.

Swift @ PEX Summer Festival

After a short recording break in July, Swiftocious is excited to announce a monthly residency at The Wonderland Ballroom in DC (currently Aug. 16th, Sep. 13th & Oct. 11th) with special guests at each show! The group has also recently announced return trips to Nectar's in Burlington, VT (August 25th) and The Boone Saloon in Boone, NC (September 22nd)! Catch 'em while they're hot folks!!
